  • A pleasant blend of island style and beach house details gives this home plan a truly special look. This raised home uses wraparound porches and a dormered top floor to give the exterior a warm and cottage-like look. The balance of this design shows a graceful staircase with garages on each side on the ground level. Storage space, bonus areas, and dual garages are located on the ground level, which allows the main floors to be placed above. This is perfect for low-lying coastal regions and view oriented sites.
  • Up the curved staircase (or elevator) are the main living spaces. A formal parlour with a wet bar is a great gathering area. To the right, a family leisure room has a fireplace, entertainment center wall, vaulted ceiling, and glass to the outdoor views. The leisure room blends comfortably with the kitchen and informal nook. The kitchen easily serves the dining room to the front yard.
  • A bayed wall in the dining room has French doors to the wrap-around porch. This bay detail is matched on the opposite side in the first level master or guest suite area. Here, a full bath and walk-in closet make this a special suite.
  • A study to the rear of the home has great rear yard views and access to the wraparound covered veranda.
  • The top floor is dedicated to the upper master suite. At the top of the staircase is a sitting loft. Here, a wet bar and a built-in bookshelf offer a cozy retreat while the double French doors open to the front yard. An exercise room can be a bonus room if not used for gym equipment. The master suite focuses the bed toward the rear deck and expansive views and has his and her closets. The master bath has his and her sink areas, private water closet and bidet room, glass enclosed shower, and an oversized soaking tub.
